In my personal life, I have a lot of things to look forward to in the new year. My boyfriend Gary and I will have officially been together 2 years on January 18. Then in March I will be in my brother Andrew's wedding in Montana and my parents and I are taking a trip to Hawaii right after the wedding! In April I will start my second baseball season with the Trenton Thunder on the 8th and will also hit that milestone birthday of 25 years old on the 20th!
As for my sports teams that I'm passinate about, 2010 means the Redskins can wash that horrible taste of their 2009 season out of their mouths by starting fresh with a new coach (yet to be named), a #4 draft pick, and hope for better things to come in 2010. My New York Yankees will get the chance to defend their world championship title in the 2010 season although they'll be doing it without my favorite player of recent years, Melky Cabrera. The Hokies basketball team has done well so far this season so I am looking forward to them making a splash in this years March madness tournament.
I'm not really the type to make official "New Years Resolutions" but I do like to make "to-do" lists and set personal goals for myself. I haven't done a great job at completing these lists and goals but they're still fun to make! One thing that I would like to do is to actually write more than 7 blog posts in 2010, even if no one actually reads them :-) I am planning on blogging about anything and everything from my random babblings to recipes, product reviews and more. Stay tuned!
